Painted Sky Opera is proud to present The Bartered Banana, a 30-minute interactive children’s opera presented in English!
Barry is the last lonely banana at the fruit stand. Everyone wants him for their own selfish reasons, but no one asks what Barry wants: to find a bunch of new friends who won’t split. Join us on this a-peel-ing musical adventure as Barry discovers that he deserves friends that treat him like the top banana!

More about The Bartered Banana:
The Bartered Banana is a 30-minute interactive opera for children in English very loosely based on Smetana’s The Bartered Bride. The opera is appropriate for all ages and aimed at pre-K to 3rd grade students.
